Friends of Judy Retreat at Stitchin' Heaven-November 2025
Come join Certified Instructor Tina Lueders at the beautiful Stitchin' Heaven Retreat Center in Quitman, TX. Check in is on Wednesday, November 12th at 1:00 pm with a "Get Acquainted" dinner at 6:00 pm. Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner are provided on Thursday-Saturday. Breakfast is provided on Sunday, November 16th and checkout is at 11:00 am. The sewing room is open around the clock for you night owls and early birds. On Saturday evening we'll have a "Trunk Show" and "Ta-Da's".
Cost of the Retreat: $575 - Pricing is based on double occupancy room. Each room will sleep two and has a private bathroom. Maximum 24 guest.
if you require a private room, then you will need to rent a cottage from Stitchin' Heaven for the duration of the retreat. You will receive a discount of $125 off of our retreat cost if you are staying in a cottage. Friends of Judy Retreats will not be responsible for the rental of cottages through Stitchin' Heaven, that is something that you will need to do on your own. The rental of cottages is between Stitchin' Heaven and you.
If you would like to rent a sewing machine from Stitchin' Heaven, you can contact Stitchin' Heaven Event Department for more information. Please contact them at least two months before the retreat to ensure availability.

| Instructor Bio: | Tina's love of sewing comes from her Grandmother who gave her a needle, thread and scrap fabric at the age of 4. She has been sewing ever since, mostly doing garment sewing. When she started working as a secretary and needed a professional wardrobe, she began making outfits from patterns that were fashioned after 'Dynasty'. She's owned her own commercial embroidery business and made custom western apparel for many clients. Tina is a fairly 'young' quilter, taking up the art of quilting about 15 years ago. She was doing a 'shop-hop' with a friend and walked into a little quilt store and fell in love with Summer Solstice. Even though she told her friend that she was Not a Quilter - she signed up for the class and was well on her way to be addicted to Quiltworx patterns. Her favorite type of quilts are paper piecing. |

Retreat cost is $575. Deposit of $150 due at time of registration, remaining balance of $425 will be invoiced 60 days prior to the retreat. Includes lodging, meals, and access to sewing room.
